Carol graduated from All Saints Academy in Detroit in 1966. Following High School, Carol worked in an administrative position. Later Carol worked for the United States Postal Service for several years before retiring in 1978. Sometime after that she was the Office Administrator at the Edison Boat Club. Carol was active volunteering in several roles for All Saints Parish. She is probably best known by parish children as the ‘Prizes Lady’ since she bought and distributed children’s prizes for the All Saints Parish Festival from 2012 to 2016.
Carol loved sewing. She learned from her mother Elizabeth who taught sewing at All Saints Academy. Carol started at a young age making clothes for her younger brother, Bob, and later for her children. She also liked to shop at garage sales and to do Fill-In and jigsaw puzzles.
Carol is survived by her Husband, Michael; Children, Michael A. and Joseph; Grandchildren, Charles and Zachary; and Siblings, Thomas and Robert.
Carol was preceded in death by her Parents, Elizabeth and Albert; and Sibling, Gerald.
Family and Friends are invited to the memorial service. It will take place at St. Mary Catholic Church, 730 S. Lafayette Ave., Royal Oak, Michigan on October 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
